Funny, i was talking with a friend about that very idea last night. We couldn't think of a good way to make it work with the stock lights.

It would just be cleaner without all the crap breaking up the lines. I think these cars have great lines, they'd just be better without the clutter.

I was thinking the same thing about that fuel door. We talked about the parking light and door handle already, but when I came back to look again...that darn fuel door stared me in the face. I'm not a big fan of the shaving on this car, but we already talked about that. You might want to consider doing the fuel cell if your gonna shave like that. Sure, it's not MY money...lol.

Once the amc is done i'll probably wait a year or two to do anything major to any of my vehicles So i can save up some money for a house. Yeah right. After i get a place with a garage i'll probably do the bird over again. Actually pull the doors off this time and do it right. Figure it won't be too bad since the majority of the work is done. Just need to fix the chips and what not. I won't have to strip the whole car this time. Then i'll probably ditch the lights and door handles. And maybe try to figure out what to do about that filler cap.

i would just put the filler door behind the tag and be done with it. simple and easy to do.

Not as easy as it sounds. Tag is in the bumper. There is a panel between the tail lights but all of the latch stuff is behind it. There's always a way, just not an easy one.
